IAS Visiting Professor elected to NAS

IAS extends its congratulations to former IAS Senior Visiting Fellow Prof. Arup CHAKRABORTY for being elected to the US National Academy of Sciences, in recognition of his “distinguished and continuing achievements in original research”. Membership in the NAS is one of the most significant honors given to academic researchers in US. Prof. Chakraborty was one of our three IAS Senior Visiting Fellows who are members of both NAS and the US National Academy of Engineering (NAE).
