IAS Members Conferred Honorary Doctorates by HKUST

We extend our warmest congratulations to Prof. Sir Christopher PISSARIDES (left), IAS Helmut & Anna Pao Sohmen Professor-at-Large and Nobel laureate in Economic Sciences, and Prof. Roger KORNBERG (right), IAS Senior Visiting Fellow and Nobel laureate in Chemistry, on receiving honorary doctorates from HKUST. Prof. Sir Chrisopher Pissarides has been awarded the title of Doctor of Social Sciences honoris causa while Prof. Roger Kornberg has been awarded the title of Doctor of Science honoris causa.  These prestigious recognitions not only celebrate their remarkable achievements and contributions to their respective fields, but also honor their commitments to advancing knowledge and the cultivation of excellence for society at large.
