IAS Sin Wai Kin Professor of Chinese Culture YAN Lianke Has Been Awarded the 2024 Hsing Yun Global Chinese Literary Prize

Prof. YAN Lianke, IAS Sin Wai Kin Professor of Chinese Culture, has been awarded the 2024 Hsing Yun Global Chinese Literary Prize (Contribution Award). He is recognized for his dedication to the creation and research of Chinese literature.

The Hsing Yun Global Chinese Literary Prize is a prestigious literary award established in Taiwan in 2011, organized by the Venerable Master Hsing Yun Public Education Trust Fund. The awards are divided into Contribution Award and Creation Awards, and are open to Chinese-language authors regardless of nationality or region. The Contribution Award recognizes authors with continuous and cumulative contributions to the literary field or exceptional literary achievements, and is awarded to an outstanding author selected by the review committee.
