IAS Senior Visiting Fellows Elected to Prestigious Academies

IAS Senior Visiting Fellows Prof. Thomas RANDO, Professor of Neurology and Neurological Sciences at Stanford University, and Prof. WANG Der-wer, Edward C. Henderson Professor of Chinese Literature at Harvard University, are among newly elected Members of The American Academy of Arts & Sciences (AAAS), an honorary society that recognizes world leaders from across disciplines and convenes professions to address important issues.

IAS Senior Visiting Fellow Prof. CHENG Yifan, Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics at University of California, San Francisco, who is also a Member of AAAS, was recently elected as Member by The US National Academy of Sciences in recognition of his distinguished achievements in original research.
