IAS Sin Wai Kin Professor of Chinese Culture YAN Lianke has been awarded the 6th Lee Hochul Literary Prize for Peace for his great contribution and significance in literature.

The ‘Lee Hochul Literary Prize for Peace’ (LLPP) was established by Eunpyeong-gu Office to commemorate the literary works and spirit of the late author LEE Ho-chul who had resided in Eunpyeong-gu more than 50 years and whose works are deeply rooted in longing for the reunification of Korea peninsula as the foremost author of unification literature. In the award ceremony, Prof. Yan has shared his thoughts on his experiences, struggles and aspirations in writing. (Acceptance Speech, in Chinese only)
