IAS Bank of East Asia Professor Ching W. TANG has been inducted in the US National Inventors Hall of Fame

It has recently been announced that IAS Bank of East Asia Professor Ching W. Tang will be inducted in the 2018 US National Inventors Hall of Fame for his pioneer work in Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) technology. The OLED is “an advance in flat-panel displays in computers, cell phones and televisions that provides increased power efficiency, longer battery life and improved display quality.” The US National Inventors Hall of Fame honors individuals whose inventions have made the world a better place.
