Since the term “Alzheimer’s disease” was first coined in 1910, neurologists have been working hard to gain a better understanding on neurodegenerative diseases. One of the pioneers, IAS Senior Visiting Fellow Prof. John HARDY from the University College London who received the 2016 Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences, shares his discovery and insight in tackling this mind thief.
