Dr. Gianluca Zoccarato received his PhD in Physics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2016. In his doctoral thesis he investigated the flavour sector of Grand Unified Models in F-theory and Superconformal Field Theories in five dimensions. His research interests are in String Phenomenology, String Inflation and Topological String Theory.
