Dr. Ding Kun received his Bachelor's degree from Fudan University in 2008, and got his PhD in physics from Fudan University in 2013 (supervised by Prof. ZHOU Lei). During his PhD career, he focused on the field of metamaterial and some related topics, such as optical force, graphene, etc. In August 2013, he joined IAS of HKUST as a Postdoctoral Fellow under Prof. CHAN Che Ting. He has authored and co-authored 5 papers, and his current research interests include: (1) Metamaterial Theory, focused on metasurface; (2) Optical Manipulation, focused on optical force of chiral system; (3) Graphene, focused on second harmonic generation and graphene based metamaterial..
