Dr. Zhai Liting received her BSc in biotechnology from Shandong University in 2009. After graduation, she joined the lab of Prof. XIANG Song at the Institute for Nutritional Sciences, SIBS, Chinese Academy of Sciences for her doctoral studies and obtained her PhD degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2016. She then joined the IAS HKUST-Scripps R&D laboratory as a Postdoctoral Fellow under supervisions of Prof. Paul SCHIMMEL  (IAS Senior Visiting Fellow) and Prof. ZHANG Mingjie. Her current research focuses on characterizing interactions of tRNA synthetases and protein partners with important functional implications.
