Dr. William N. K. TRAD received his PhD in Mathematics from the University of Sydney in 2023 before joining HKUST IAS as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He has studied the mean sojourn time of Brownian motion in various geometric situations. Of close relation to this work, he has also studied eigenvalue asymptotic behavior for the perturbed Neumann Laplacian. Currently, he is interested in inverse spectral problems involving the Wave trace.
