After completing his PhD from KEK, the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, Japan in 2009, Dr. Yoske Sumitomo spent half a year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. From 2009 to 2011, he joined a theory group at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai, India. He was awarded the Nagakura Research Incentive Award and the Sokendai Research Award in 2009. His major research interests include string theory, high energy theoretical physics, and in particular their applications to cosmology and phenomenology.
