Dr. Ryan T. K. Kwok received his BSc in Chemistry and PhD in Nano Science and Technology from HKUST in 2009 and 2013 respectively. After graduation, he worked as Research Associate in Prof. Ben Zhong Tang’s research lab from 2013 to 2017. In July 2017, he was appointed as Research Assistant Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Junior Fellow of HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study. Dr. Kwok’s research focuses on the development of functional luminescent materials with aggregation-induced emission (AIE) characteristics and exploration of their applications in biological imaging and sensing.
