Dr. Kristelle BOUGOT-ROBIN
After receiving an engineering degree from ESPCI in Paris, with a specialisation in Bio-engineering, Dr. Kristelle Bougot-Robin graduated from a PhD in biophotonics of Paris XI University, in collaboration with Thales Research and Technology. Her PhD was on ultraviolet imaging of contrast enhancing biochips using nanostructuration focusing both on theoretical and experimental aspects. During 2010 – 2013, she joined HKUST IAS as a postdoctorate fellow to work in Prof. WEN Weijia’s laboratory under the Department of Physics, in collaboration with Prof. Robert H. Austin’s laboratory of Princeton University. Dr. Bougot-Robin’s research focused on evolution, using E. Coli model in stressed environment and exploiting microfluidic chips properties.
