IAS Senior Fellow Professor Kei May Lau elected 2019 Fellow of Optical Society of America

IAS Senior Fellow Prof. LAU Kei May, Fang Professor of Engineering and Chair Professor of Electronic and Computer Engineering, has been elected a Fellow of Optical Society of America (OSA) in the Class of 2019 for her exceptional contributions to hetero-epitaxy of III-V compounds on silicon by MOCVD for photonic devices. This distinction was awarded to OSA members for their significant contributions to the advancement of optics and photonics. The Society\'s bylaws allow the Fellows number to be no more than 10% of the total OSA Membership and only approximately 0.5% of the current membership total would be elected as Fellows annually.
