Overview

Entrepreneurship is the engine of growth in any economy, and one of the key objectives of any Financial System is to finance and promote economic growth. This one-day conference will bring together some leading academics and practitioners working in the area of Entrepreneurship and Finance. The conference will feature a keynote address by Prof Alexander Ljungqvist, Ira Rennert Chair Professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship at New York University's Stern School of Business, and IAS Visiting Professor at HKUST, six academic papers by leading academicians doing research on the financial economics of entrepreneurship and innovation, and a panel discussion among leading industry practitioners and academics.
