Dr. Chen Zhang received his BS in Physics in 2013 from Nanjing University, followed by his MSc in 2014 and his PhD in 2020 from the University of Toronto in Theoretical High Energy Physics under the supervision of Prof. Bob HOLDOM. His previous studies include various topics such as the UV completion of Standard Model, quark matter, compact stars and related gravitational-wave studies, and the quantum probe of curved spacetime using Unruh-Dewitt detectors. His recent research interest include particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology.

Dr. Zhang works with Prof. Tao LIU, Department of Physics.
