Dr. Tan Xuefeng received his PhD in Organic Chemistry from Wuhan University in 2016 followed by his appointments as postdoctoral fellow in Southern University of Science and Technology in China during 2016 - 2018 and Goettingen University in Germany during 2019 - 2020. At the beginning of 2021, Dr. Tan joined Prof. SUN Jianwei’s research group in HKUST and then became IAS Junior Fellow from April 2021 to May 2023. His research focuses on the development of new methodology to solve synthetic problems and designing novel catalysts in asymmetric catalysis.
