Dr. Li Weihong received his PhD from the Department of Energy and Power Engineering of the Tsinghua University in 2018. After that he joined Prof Zhibin Yu’s group as a Research Associate at the School of Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK. In September 2019, he became a Research Assistant Professor of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and concurrently as a Junior Fellow at the HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study (IAS). His research interests lie in macro/microscale heat transfer and fluid dynamics, additive manufacturing for heat exchanger, thermal management for gas turbine, and high fidelity CFD simulations.
