Dr. Antti KUJANPÄÄ received his PhD in Mathematics from the University of Helsinki in 2022 before joining HKUST IAS as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the same year. He has studied inverse problems related to the relativistic Boltzmann equation, Cherenkov radiation in anisotropic medium and scattering from random potentials. Dr. KUJANPÄÄ’s current interests include microlocal analysis and it’s applications in other fields, such as condensed matter physics, general relativity and biomedical imaging.

Dr. KUJANPÄÄ works with Prof. Gunther Uhlmann.
