Dr. Zhou Dongying received his PhD in Physics from Soochow University in 2014. During his PhD study, he spent a year visiting the University of Waterloo. Since May 2015, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at the School of Energy, Soochow University. In December 2017, Dr. Zhou joined HKUST Institute for Advanced Study as a Postdoctoral Fellow under the support of Hong Kong Scholars Program.

His research interests include physics mechanism and device engineering in organic light-emitting devices and perovskite solar cells. Particularly, he focuses on the development of tandem configuration and TADF materials towards large-area OLEDs with high efficiency and long stability.
