Dr. Zheng Qingbin received his PhD from Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). After working for two years in Germany as Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden, Dr. Zheng rejoined HKUST as a Research Assistant Professor of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Junior Fellow at the HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study (IAS). His research focuses on synthesis of graphene, graphene films for transparent conductors, graphene based sensors, graphene reinforced nanocomposites, molecular simulations (MD, MM) of graphene and carbon nanotube (CNT) based nanocomposites. He has authored/co-authored over 40 refereed journal papers with h-index of 21 (Web of Science).
