Dr. Zhang Chenbo received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2019. While pursuing his study, Dr. Zhang mainly focused on the power-source-free energy conversion by first-order phase transforming ferroelectric materials. His current research includes the material synthesis by floating-zone technique and design of phase transforming ferroelectric materials with promising functionalities by different approaches in neutron scattering, X-ray diffraction and differential interference contrast microscopy.

Dr. Zhang works with Prof. CHEN Xian, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
