Dr. Wei Zhiyi received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2007. Between 2009 and 2013, he was a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and concurrently appointed as IAS Fellow. His research focused on aminoacyl tRNA synthetase as well as scaffold proteins in neuronal signaling network based on structural biology and biochemistry.

Dr. Wei worked with Prof. ZHANG Mingjie, Division of Life Science.
