Dr. Lei Lu received the BS and MS in Microelectronics from Soochow University in 2007 and 2010 respectively, followed by his PhD in Electronic and Computer Engineering from HKUST in 2014. Dr. Lu became Research Associate in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering in 2014 and joined HKUST IAS as its Postdoctoral Fellow in 2016. In June 2017, he was appointed as Research Assistant Professor of the Department and concurrently as IAS Junior Fellow. His research interests include the novel metal-oxide (MO) thin-film transistors (TFTs) and the applications to advanced displays and logic circuits; Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS), especially MEMS pressure sensor.
