After obtaining his Bachelor Degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2003 followed by his PhD in Brown University in 2008, Dr. Law Kam Tuen joined the HKUST IAS as a joint postdoctoral fellow of HKUST-IAS and MIT during 2008 - 2009. His research interest was in condensed matter theory.

Dr. Law worked with Prof. NG Tai Kai, Department of Physics.
