Dr. Zhou Jin Chuan received his DPhil in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, UK in 2013. He then joined Dr. Alessandro Costa’s laboratory at the Francis Crick Institute, UK, where he worked on the structural characterization of the eukaryotic replication machine. Since 2018 he joined Prof. Mingjie Zhang’s group at HKUST and his current research focuses on the structural investigation by cryo-electron microscopy of key scaffold proteins in the synapse of neurons.
