Dr. Guo Qinghua received her PhD in Physics from Nankai University in 2015. After graduation, she worked as a Research Associate in Prof. Shuang Zhang’s group in the University of Birmingham from 2015 to 2018. Then she joined Prof. C T Chan’s research group in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in June 2018. Since June 2019, she has become a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and concurrently a Junior Fellow in the Institute for Advanced Study at HKUST. Dr. Guo’s research focuses on the manipulation of electromagnetic waves and topological photonics in complex metamaterials.
