Dr. Christina JENQ
Dr. Jenq received her PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and her BA in Physics from Harvard College. Her specializations are in Labor Economics and Labor Econometrics and her research interests encompass Family Economics, Gender, and the China Economy. Her dissertation examined the relationship between cohort sex ratios and female educational attainment in post-1949 China. She was the recipient of the Paulson Institute Pre-Doctoral Fellowship, and is a Ford Foundation New Generation China Scholar. She has also had private sector work experience in finance, working for a large Wall Street investment bank for 2 years before starting her research.
