Dr. Hei-Man Chow received her PhD degree in molecular cancer biology from Departments of Pharmacology and Medicine at the University of Hong Kong in 2010. After graduation, she continued cancer research at Cornell University as her first postdoctoral training and then started a new direction in neuroscience with Prof. Karl Herrup of the Division of Life Science at HKUST since 2013. By March 2015, Dr. Chow was appointed as a Research Assistant Professor in the same laboratory. Her research focuses on molecular regulations of Wnt/β-catenin signaling; DNA damage responses, and the role of oncogene-induced senescence in Alzheimer’s disease.
