On One Loop Kaehler Metrics in String Theory

Abstract

The speaker will review results on one loop Kaehler metrics from string theory and their role for model building. They can affect the stabilization of moduli and are, thus, important for string cosmology and phenomenology. The speaker will present some new results on one loop Kaehler metrics in the context of type II orientifolds.
