We invite you to the HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study 20th Anniversary Concert - Together We Celebrate: Bright Sheng & Beethoven Across Time. This significant event commemorates two decades of academic excellence and innovation at HKUST IAS.

 

Under the esteemed direction of Prof. Bright Sheng, a renowned composer and conductor, the concert will present an exceptional program that blends both Western and Chinese musical traditions. We are honored to collaborate with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra and the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra Chorus, celebrated for their artistic contributions.

 

This concert not only marks the anniversary of the HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study but also underscores the unifying power of music, bridging diverse cultures and eras. Join us for an enriching evening that promises to inspire and connect individuals through the universal language of music.

Free admission and is open to public. Registration is required to attend this symposium. 

  • This event is for ages 6 and above.

  • An individual registrant can register for up to four (4) guests including the Registrant himself/herself. 

  • The booker’s name and email address are required for the registration.

  • Registrant who successfully made the booking will receive a confirmation email with a PDF attachment of printable tickets and QR codes for all the guests he/she registered

  • No hourly parking or free parking will be provided to registrants. Registrants are recommended to take public transportation to HKUST.
