IAS Center for Quantum Matter Symposium

Frontiers of Quantum Magnetism and Correlated Systems

Overview

The exploration of quantum materials remains a primary engine for discovery in modern condensed matter physics, unveiling a rich tapestry of novel quantum phases born from the intricate interplay of magnetism, topology, and strong electronic correlations.

This symposium is uniquely curated to showcase a new generation of leaders who are currently defining the frontier of these discoveries. We are privileged to host a cohort of highly active researchers whose work exemplifies the vibrant and rapidly evolving nature of our discipline. Throughout today’s sessions, these pioneers will guide us through critical research frontiers, including Emerging Magnetic Phases, Correlated Topological Systems, and their profound intersections with superconductivity.

Designed as a catalyst for high-energy intellectual exchange, we hope this symposium sparks transformative ideas and strengthens the collaborative networks that will shape the trajectory of quantum materials research for the decade to come.
