Overview

Cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) has revolutionized structural biology, allowing for the study of in-situ structures of biological macromolecules to gain unprecedented insights into the internal workings of cells at a relatively high-resolution. This enables pursuing answers to numerous fundamental questions in biology. The proposed symposium aims to focus on two primary topics: the groundbreaking discoveries in life sciences facilitated by cryo-EM techniques and the new methods driving the ongoing revolution in both single-particle cryo-EM and cryo-ET.

The Symposium invites esteemed experts in the field of cryo-EM to share their latest findings and technological advancements. By fostering engaging presentations, fruitful discussions, and valuable networking opportunities, the symposium aims to contribute to the collective knowledge and understanding of structural biology. Participants can expect to benefit greatly from this platform, gaining insights into cutting-edge research, exchanging ideas, and establishing valuable connections within the scientific community.
