The 11th International Conference on Optical Probes of Conjugated Polymers and Organic Nanostructures

Welcoming Message

On behalf of the organizing committee, we cordially invite you to attend the 11th International Conference on Optical Probes of Conjugated Polymers and Organic Nanostructures (OP 2015), which will be held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong on 14-19 June 2015.

The Optical Probes Conference is the leading series of meetings in the field of photophysics of organic semiconductors. The previous conferences took place at Snowbird (1992), Salt Lake City (1994), San-Diego (1997), Salt Lake City (2000), Venice (2003), Bangalore (2005), Turku (2007), Beijing (2009), Santa Fe (2011) and Durham (2013). The scope of the current conference is a variety of excited state phenomena in technologically important materials and biosystems, including size- and time-dependent electronic interactions, excited state dynamics, quantum confinement, carrier transport and optical measurement.

This conference bringing together an interdisciplinary group of physicists, chemists, material scientists, and device engineers to provide a forum to meet and discuss ideas, identifying obstacles and possible solutions, as well as future issues related to photophysics and applications of organic materials and devices. We look forward to seeing you all in Hong Kong in 2015.
