Non-Uniqueness of Classical Inflationary Trajectories on a High-Dimensional Landscape

Abstract

The speaker will give a brief introduction on string landscape inflation and multi-stream inflation. Several existing ways of phenomenologically generating random potential will also presented. She will then talk about how they generate the random potential in their work. The results about constraints caused by bifurcation in parameter space in inflation in a landscape will be discussed. It is found that, for example, in 10 dimensions, only 103~106 of the parameter space volume leads to unique classical trajectories.
