Dr. Li Yiju received his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Harbin Engineering University in 2018. During 2015 – 2017, he studied abroad at the University of Maryland, College Park as a Joint PhD scholar. Before joining HKUST IAS, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Peking University (2018-2021). His main research interests include Li sulfur batteries, alkali ion batteries, supercapacitors, water splitting, and interfacial solar steam generation.

Dr. Li works with Prof. Tianshou ZHAO.
